Riccarton Clinic is a busy combined General Practice and Urgent Care clinic located at Church Corner, Upper Riccarton and open every day of the year from 8:00am to 8:00pm. 

We pride ourselves on making a positive difference in our local Canterbury community, ensuring the healthcare needs of many are met.

 

The successful applicant will be responsible for managing a large non-clinical team and ensuring the day-to-day clinic operations run smoothly. You will work alongside a supportive management team to contribute to the continued improvement of systems and processes, ensuring the future success of Riccarton Clinic. 

We are looking for someone with passion and motivation, whose natural leadership style encompasses strategic thinking, empathy, flexibility, openness and who can inspire others.

Ongoing support and mentoring is provided plus the opportunity to complete professional development courses and training programmes.

 

EXPERIENCE

  • Strong business acumen and professional services experience, ideally within the medical sector.
  • Previous experience managing a team.
  • Well-versed in NZ employment legislation.
  • Experience in service process design and quality control.

 

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS

  • Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills.
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Outstanding organisational and time management skills.
  • Analytical mindset and problem-solving orientation.
  • Knowledge of Lean operations a definite advantage.
  • Strong and confident communication skills.
  • Good knowledge of a variety of software packages including Microsoft 365.
  • A high level of skill and knowledge of MedTech 32 practice management software or similar will be a definite advantage.
