About the position
Our Registered Nurse plays a vital part in the day-to-day operation of our clinics; reporting to the clinic's Charge Nurse and working with your Clinic Manager, Locality Manager & Admin team, you will be responsible for ensuring proper triage and patient care.
Key Responsibilities
- Patient Triage
- Assessment, planning, implementation & evaluation of patient requirements
- Training of new nurse
- Recording patient details, registration & updating patient notes
- Evaluation & Development of junior nurses
You will need to have:
- A current NZNC APC
- General Practice experience (Preferable)
- Preferred experience with Medtech Evolution, Medtech 32 or similar. (desirable)
- Excellent English written and communication skills
- Strong organisational skills, including the ability to manage conflicting priorities
- Someone committed to health equity and cultural competency and can demonstrate an understanding of Tikanga Māori, Kawa Māori, and Te Tiriti o Waitangi.
