White Cross Whangarei offers comprehensive urgent care services for accidents and illnesses 7 days a week. Our clinic provides prompt medical assistance for a range of conditions including minor injuries, flu, breathing problems, cuts, burns, and sprains. Our skilled doctors and nurses perform plastering, suturing, and wound care, and can refer you for x-rays or hospital treatment if needed. With on-site x-ray, dental, pharmacy, and physiotherapy services, you can access additional care conveniently. Our diverse and welcoming team speaks multiple languages, including English, Spanish, and German. Located on Reyburn St near the motorway, we are ACC accredited, open daily from 8:00am to 8:00pm
About the position:
Our Registered Nurse plays a vital part in the day-to-day operation of our clinics, reporting to the clinic's Charge Nurse, and working with your Practice Manager, Nurse Lead & Admin team, you will be responsible for ensuring proper triage and patient care.
We are seeking to fill a Casual role working accross our business ours. .
You will need to have:
- A current NZNC APC
- Urgent care experience (Preferable)
- Preferred experience with Medtech Evolution, Medtech 32 or similar. (desirable)
- Excellent English written and communication skills
- Strong organisational skills, including the ability to manage conflicting priorities
- Someone committed to health equity and cultural competency and can demonstrate an understanding of Tikanga Māori, Kawa Māori, and Te Tiriti o Waitangi.
